Appointments are kept in the practice schedule. The team adds, changes and cancels them, and the daily agenda shows at a glance which animals are expected. When the animal arrives you press check-in, and at the end you mark the visit as completed. If two appointments overlap for the same vet or room, the platform warns you and shows which one they clash with.
The electronic record gathers, for each animal, the identification details, the owner’s details, the consultations and the related documents. The vet opens it from the schedule and sees the whole history in one place instead of separate paper registers. Each animal gets a reference number, and you search by name, owner or microchip.
A consultation is written in free text: the reason for the visit, the symptoms, the diagnosis, the treatment and the date of the next check-up. The prescription is issued as a document from the consultation and stays in the animal record. 4softvet does not send the prescription to any official register and is not an electronic prescription system.
